Ellsworth is the regional hub for many mainland projects. Nearby coastal and inland homes can have different access, delivery, and seasonal planning needs.
Projects on MDI may need extra attention to seasonal schedules, occupied-home logistics, parking, and material staging.
Peninsula and island projects are planned around travel time, delivery coordination, and the access available at the property.
We accept requests from the Machias area, coastal communities, Calais, and the St. Croix Valley. Contractor availability depends on the location and scope.
Location matters
Material deliveries, island access, seasonal occupancy, and travel time can affect how a project is planned. Older homes can also reveal uneven framing, past alterations, or limited mechanical space once existing finishes are assessed.
Include the property location, whether the home is occupied year-round, and any access constraints in your first message so those details can be considered with the scope.
A town name alone does not determine project fit. The size of the remodel, the condition of the room, parking and staging space, ferry or bridge access, delivery needs, and the proposed schedule all help determine whether a site visit is the right next step.
Plan around the property

Note whether this is the only bathroom, which entry can be used, where materials may be staged, and how the household needs to move through the home.
Share occupancy dates, caretaker access, utility status, and any period when selections, site review, or construction cannot take place.
