Downeast Remodeling is a project referral service. Tell us the town, the work you have in mind, and when you would like to get started. We review those details before considering a referral to a local remodeling business.

We do not perform construction or provide estimates. A request does not guarantee a contractor match, appointment, price, or completion date. Contractor availability varies by location, project, and schedule.

What happens to your request

1. You describe the project. Share the essentials in one short form. Photos and budget details are optional.
2. We review it. The location, scope, and timing help us assess a possible local referral. We may contact you to clarify the details.
3. A remodeler may follow up. With your permission, we may share your contact details and project information with a local remodeling business.
4. You decide. Any site visit, estimate, contract, payment, and construction work are arranged directly with the contractor you choose.

Before choosing a contractor

Ask for recent references, proof of insurance, and any required trade licenses. Get a written scope and understand who is responsible for permits, materials, scheduling, warranties, and changes. A referral is not an endorsement or a guarantee of a contractor's work.

Clear expectations

You are under no obligation to hire. We may receive a referral fee from a remodeling business. The gallery contains licensed design references, not photographs of our completed projects. Read how we handle project information.
